Luigi Morri and Dino Para, old time friends and partners, founded Cantiere Morri & Para back in 1952.

They promptly embraced the latest wooden construction techniques that were becoming available at that time. A first for Italy, Morri & Para started crafting cold molded Flying Juniors. These were soon followed by Snipes, Flying Dutchmans, and then offshore cruising and racing sailboats from well known designers. Santo Stefano I, Oro Fino, Pioniere, Brava, Arlecchino, Pierrot, Astra and Rimini-Rimini won many important races.

In addition to boat building, Morri & Para is busy outfitting yachts for other builders and owners, building plugs and molds, upkeeping, repairing and restoring existing yachts.

After Luigi Morri's retirement a few years ago, Valter Para, Dino's son, joined in as a partner. He is very fond of his work and contributes to the perfection of each creation with his skill and committment.
